This website is part of an initiative to help raise awareness of the plight of over 1,000 experienced, talented and satisfactory rated NYC teachers who through no fault of their own have been displaced by the corporate restructuring and union busting tactics of two businessmen named Michael Bloomberg and Joel Klein.
By "awareness," we do not mean passive knowledge building, but a serious resistance and fight back via organized direct action campaigns.
